Mark’s practice areas include municipal, environmental, and school law. He represents public and private clients in all aspects of land use, zoning, complex public finance, and environmental and energy negotiations. Prior to joining the firm, Mark practiced with Pierce Atwood LLP, in Portland.
Mark is a graduate of Tufts University (2000), where he majored in Political Science and Spanish He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maine School of Law (2006), where he was Articles Editor of the Maine Law Review and represented low-income clients at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. After law school, Mark completed a one-year clerkship with the Honorable John A. Woodcock, Jr., U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
Mark and his wife Sarah reside in Portland with their dog, Bea, and are expecting their first child this summer.
